With the boosting development in China， life have been changed in a variety of aspect. For instance, the living standard improved a lot. We have a lot of technology and device. such as air-conditioner,refrigerator, micro waves and etc that these stuff hadn't been widely used in our parent's generation. The the images in the top left is the traditional snack in Shanghai. That is Xiaolongbao that is pretty delicious. The red can is malted milk, it is most popular among all-age. Also, from these image we can see the construction of city represent the prosperous development. In this period of time, there are countless high buildings in Shanghai, but at our parent generation they had not been emerged. We know that the most crucial event happened in China is that Richard Milhous Nixon came to china. He met the prime minister of China and made some trade that stimulated the economy in China. It improve the relationship between China and America. From that on, a increasing number of foreign enterprises co-operated with China company. Last but no least, most of the people admire the singers and there were a bunch of good band appeared in that time. Our parent generation is a significant time in China.

Personally, I cannot tell what my life will be like. The future is too vague because things are always changing. I cannot transform to a prophet to imagine the future. However, I want be an engineer and trying to create some medical machines or medicines to make some contribution to the world although it might be slight. Otherwise, I hope to travel around the world to go sightseeing and experience the local lifestyle. For instance, I want to flying to Israel to see the heritage of Jerusalem. Going to Tibet to see the magnificent view is also my dream. I hope I can persist my dream no matter how brutal the reality is. I hope I can cherish every meaningful and fabulous moment that with friends, family and or by myself. Literally, happy is just a kind of attitude. Although it does matter with what happening around, I think attitude is more crucial than others. No matter how hard the life goes through, we need to be passionate towards life. Without an optimistic attitude, we cannot feel the existence of happiness. Hardly can we be successful without a positive attitude.
<Tuesday with Morrie>
The main character of this book is not only Mitch’s respectful and erudite professor, but also Mitch himself. From my perspective, Mitch isn’t happy with his life. There is a specific chapter of Mitch in this book. It said Mitch went through a lot of things after he graduated from college. Firstly he lost his dear uncle who taught him to drive, aroused his interest in music and etc. When he eventually encountered the death of his uncle, he addicted to the depression. The reality makes him recognize that the time is precious and also devastated his musician dream. He madly concentrates himself to his work as a famous journalist. But he thought that he didn’t satisfied with his present life because there are always millions of stuffs that occupy all of his time. He wanted be a well-known musician. But apparently he might say “farewell” to his dream. He needs to squeeze sometime from the fussy work to do something he really desires to.
Reflection
Today, we went to the nursing house to visit some elders. Last night, I went to market to buy some food for them such like cookies and pancakes. We are luckily to visit three friendly and optimistic elder women. They were smiling while we coming there. We greeted them with great pleasure and sent them our gifts. They invited to sit down and have a talk.
One of the three women cannot hear clearly though she had a lot of experience. For instance, she has been to American twice when she was 66 and 73 years. More specific, she walked around San Francisco and Los Angeles. Also, she went to the Disney land in American. The purpose of her visiting American is because her entire family is there. She thought that there is a large amount of Chinese people there in LA and San Francisco, the China town is nearly over-crowded. She thinks the market and malls are intensive. Usually, they are in the same collective area. Her family members are all hold American passport so that she can pass the visa easily. Her son-in-law and grandson are computer engineers. In addition, she mentioned that the first time when her daughter went to American she had some frustrations. She didn’t want to be far apart from her daughter. But sometimes her family comes back to China and visits her. From her perspective, she didn’t get accustomed to the food and adapt the culture/ life style there so that she chose to back to China and went to the nursing house. American has a large territory but there are just a small number of local citizen. That old woman prefers the busy life and the phenomenon that she always has someone accompany around.
Literally, these women’s entire life is pretty monotonous. They didn’t very excited or unforgettable experience. But they live a cheerful life. Happiness is the most crucial thing in one’s life.
Go for a long walk
The weekdays are monotonic, however, every Sunday in my summer is the only day that I have no classes so that there will be some time available for my own interests and fun. Last Sunday, I asked one of my best friends to go out. I woke up at 8:00, then I dressed up. After I got ready, I saw the time pointer straightly pointing at 8:30. “I Gonna Late ” this phrase emerge in my mind so that it pushes me to rush out of my apartment. When I finally approached to the subway station, I couldn’t find the figure of my friend. A phone call from my friend was coming. She asked me to turn back way because she was standing back there. I did so but still couldn’t find her. She waved her hand to make a sign. We met each other later. Afterwards, we got on the subway although it was super-crowded that we even could not bear it. Then we got of from the throng subway and then took a connecting one. Few minutes after we got on it, we found something strange. It was that we got on the opposite direction. We escaped from that wrong-way subway in order to got off on time and change the direction. About 20mintes past in all, we got to the site we planned to go. I thought we have 2 miles to go, it was quiet a long way for the people seldom have sports. An “extensive” conversation took place between us while we were walking along the street. Approximately 1 hour later we finally got to the place, We were out of energy and “tired” is the only word that can express us. Moreover that was midnoon. We cannot dispute the fact that midnoon is the hottest hour in the entire day. We have nearly been crazy for searching a place that has cool air-conditioner. It is a nice bright stationer. There are various stuff there-including erasers, pens, folders, fine-art implements and etc. It’s one of my favorite stores. The foreign language bookstore is located next to the stationer. I bought some books from it. Because of the request from my friend, we went to another bookstore. It is likely to be the largest bookstore in Shanghai. But unfortunately, when we stepped into the store it was almost full of people. We made a good decision that is turning back and go to another place. She raised a idea that we can go to the Shanghai Museum because it is not far from there. We bought some water and food from the market to refresh ourselves. Then going to the museum. We passed the security check and went to the cloak-room directly because the book which we were carrying is so heavy so that I don’t want to carry it while we visiting the museum. We saw a variety of precious and scare cultural relics, such as porcelain, bronze ware and Chinese calligraphy. It was a valuable trip although I have been to this museum for several times.
It was a long walk but it is worth.
With the development of technology, we cannot dispute the fact that websites increasingly play an importance role in our daily life. More and more people rely on website. But actually some of the websites are super-slow, such as the website we often use to send our journals- Weebly. It’ s a typical web site among SUIS-AHS (American High School) students. Almost every day we have to keep waiting and also keep refreshing for thousands of time. We were just wondering why this website is so slow. The answer may be the huge amount of users. Every second there might be several million people log in the website so that it is unbelievably slow. In addition, the structure of that website is not advanced and stable enough to support all the users to get on the website successfully. There is no doubt that it will waste the user’s precious time. Moreover, it will lose its users trust and make them out of mind. These websites need to fix this serious problem by changing their strategy and also improve their network technology in order to make their website’s speed faster and attract more users. Plus: Today I finally got on Weebly. I had refreshed my page for nearly five days but it didn’t work.

Recently my teacher asked us to download software from her network disk. That software costs about $100 if you download from its official website but we can download it whenever we want and get it for free in China. Hacker cracked the website and the information and details revealed. Later, the people who specialized in these aspect share these software and information on their web. You know what? That is the strength of communism. If one person cracked the foreign web successfully, it might be beneficial to entire Chinese population. It’s convenient and economical. However, it may violate the copyright of that software. These appearances also involve the videos/movies/music download. It’s illegal download but it appears in Chinese people daily life so that it has evolve to a common phenomenon. People ignore the significance of copyright. Actually, most of the people never notice that they are against the law/rule when they download something on illegal website for free. What’s more, it sets a negative influence on the profit of a software company.
If we want to dispute this situation, we have to remind people that this behavior is incorrect and illegal.
In this period of time, a cartoon film called <Despicable me> is most popular among American movie theater. It attacks all-age person to watch because it is funny and entertaining. There’s no doubt that the super-adorable minions in that movie are most impressive element. I firmly believe that the minions will be also likesome among Chinese kids. But unfortunately, the truth is China ban the movie. The officer in the Chinese movie company declared that<Despicable me2> is not suitable for Chinese kid. Obviously, it’s nonsense. We have no idea about the views of theirs’. But we know we would miss this stunning cartoon film. Personally, the cute minions are my favorite characters. If China continues to prohibit no only <despicable me 2> but other fabulous films, it will demonstrate our expectation. Also, prohibiting these movie will lead to a serious issue. That’s they will earn less money and loss its prospect. The leader of Universal Movie company said that If China movie industry do not made strict enactment, this occasion will always happens”.
China Movie association has to work out a satisfied solution to stop this phenomenon. In addition, there must be some people to supervise these situations so that the movie industry in China will become more fair and bright.
It had been a long time that I didn’t go to the movies. My best friend order two movie ticket and call me to go out with her. I was pretty miss her and couldn’t wait to see her. I bought two gifts for her and also I put a card in the gift to recall our friendship.
She met me in the jewelry shop. It was quiet excited to see her again. Then we walked to the movie theatre. We chitchat when we were wait for the movie. We talked about the school life and the summer.
The movie is a action movie. Actually, it combines action and romance. The genre is classic. It’s about a woman cop to let a mafia member to return the gem. Once, the cop saved his life. Later, they fell in love. The mafia member gave the gem to the cop in order to push her to follow him. The cop struggled between her responsibility and affection. She chose to escape with him after she got the gem and return to the police. She sacrificed herself to bring the benefit to the reputation of police. But no one understands her.
It was a dismal fiction and it isn’t perfect as I expect.
